FUTURE EXPANSION
Orein Resources is actively engaged in systematic exploration across key licenses in Zambia, focusing on gold, copper, and PGMs (Ir, Rh, Pd). Our approach combines modern geophysical surveys, geochemical sampling, and advanced satellite data analysis to identify high-potential mineralized zones. By integrating traditional fieldwork with cutting-edge technology, we ensure accurate targeting, reduced environmental impact, and efficient resource definition. Our exploration strategy is designed not only to expand reserves but also to lay the foundation for long-term, sustainable mining operations.
To bridge exploration and large-scale production, Orein Resources has established a Pilot Mineral Processing License (MPL) operation. This facility allows us to test ore from different deposits, validate metallurgical flowsheets, and optimize recovery rates before scaling up to full production. The Pilot MPL serves as a proof-of-concept platform — demonstrating the economic viability of our deposits while minimizing risks. By starting at a controlled scale, we gain valuable data on ore behavior, processing efficiency, and environmental safeguards, ensuring that our future 1000 MTPD CIL plant is designed for maximum performance and sustainability.
Scale-Up (1,000 TPD) Orein Resources is progressing toward the construction of a 1,000 Tons Per Day (TPD) Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) Plant, which will serve as the backbone of our large-scale operations. This facility is designed to integrate state-of-the-art crushing, milling, leaching, and recovery circuits, ensuring high gold and PGM recovery with strict environmental compliance. The scale-up marks our transition from pilot testing to full commercial production, supported by proven exploration results and pilot MPL data. With this benchmark facility, Orein Resources aims to position itself as a leader in sustainable, high-capacity mining in Africa — delivering consistent output, economic growth, and long-term value creation.
Future Expansion Beyond the 1,000 TPD CIL plant, Orein Resources is preparing for strategic expansion into Advanced PGM and Copper Mining. With strong exploration indicators for Iridium, Rhodium, Palladium, and Platinum, alongside copper-rich zones, our long-term vision is to establish specialized processing lines dedicated to these high-value metals. This expansion will integrate modern beneficiation, hydrometallurgical, and refining technologies to maximize recovery and ensure premium product quality. By diversifying into PGMs and copper, Orein Resources strengthens its portfolio, hedges against market volatility, and positions itself as a multi-metal producer driving Africa’s next wave of mining innovation.
